Bachelor's Degree in Science, Business or other related field of study. Prefer Master's Degree in Business Administration or Science
Qualifications and Work Experience Required
5+ years Orthopedic Sales Experience or 6+ years marketing or public relations experience, preferable in the medical device, healthcare, or consumer product industry
Prefer 2-3 years of training experience
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, complex projects in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated expertise in evaluating customer needs and appropriately address those needs with global (in Product Marketing) or local (in HCI and U.S. Sales) marketing, sales & customer education efforts
Demonstrated strategic planning expertise and a track record of successfully executing to that strategic plan
Demonstrated ability to help others adapt to changing situations
Demonstrated ability to work independently and to lead a business/project team with participants from both inside and outside of the division
In HCI and Field Sales: applied understanding of the technical aspects of graphic production and ability to utilize such programs
Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop employees
Demonstrated expertise in verbal & written communication
Demonstrated organizational and planning skills
Demonstrated sense of urgency and action orientation
Demonstrated meeting facilitation and presentation skills
Responsible for the education of hospital personnel, patients, and Stryker sales force on Stryker products and services. Accomplish this through educational programs, seminars, and other Stryker events.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Facilitate and manage the overall education of teaching institutions.
Drive marketing, sales, and product/program education support
Act as point person for residency programs that rotate through multiple facilities, geographies, etc.
Liaison for multiple entities within Teaching Institutions (i.e, Executive Leadership, Med School, Ortho Chairman, Surgeon Faculty, Residents, and Hospital Staff).
Run programs such as Cadaver Lab Courses, Bioskills, Grand Rounds, Mahwah Med Ed, CME Educational Grant Med Ed Courses, etc... at teaching institutions.
Partner with sales education team to help compliment the training of reps.
Utilize and leverage new, safe, and proven technology to promote better clinical outcomes and financial growth.
Partner with trauma and recon sales managers on events and sales training.
Facilitate grant requests with teaching institutions.
