The Quality Operations Tech is responsible for supporting Manufacturing Quality Engineering activities under the Global Quality Operations organization. The position will focus on Quality Engineering support, quality hold support, quality inspection sheets, NCE documentation / support and continuous process improvement.
Essential Job Functions:
Support internal customers including but not limited to Quality Engineering, Manufacturing, R&D, Process Engineering and others as necessary and in accordance with applicable procedures and regulations Support manufacturing and suppliers on process improvement projects, non-conforming events, supplier issues and sourcing projects. Support and execute Quality Inspection sheets, NCE management, First Article documentation and general quality engineering support. Assist in Quality Operations related metrics to track and identify compliance, effectiveness, trending and efficiency. Assist in cross-functional continuous improvements identified through the SPARK program and organizational HPMS initiatives. Assist in improvement projects on procedures and processes both internally and externally.

Ability to effectively communicate both verbal and written, as well as work effectively with cross functional groups

Ability to prioritize and make effective and timely decisions
Communicating clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
Handle multiple projects, duties and assignments
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Plan and support Internal cross functional meeting
Collaborate with global cross functional teams
Must be proficient with MS Office
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
2 Year degree preferred.
Minimum of one (1) year relevant industry experience required
ASQ certification preferred.
Computer skills required including Microsoft Teams, Access, Excel, Word, Project, SharePoint, Minitab and Unigraphics
Knowledge of ISO, FDA and cGMP regulations regarding medical devices
Knowledge of metrology tools, inspection techniques, engineering drawings and GD&T
Existing knowledge on Internal and External audits and supplier relations and readiness
