The research laboratories of Omid Veiseh and David Zhang at Rice University in Houston, TX, are seeking to hire a postdoctoral scholar to develop new implanted medical devices for collection of biospecimens and delivery of therapeutics. The successful candidate will lead efforts in prototype development and pre-clinical validation studies. Ultimately, we seek to commercialize the technology developed as a precision medicine platform for individualized and continuous diagnosis and treatment. The successful candidate is expected to start between Aug 15 and Oct 15, 2018, and will be jointly mentored by Dr. Veiseh and Dr. Zhang.
