JOB DESCRIPTION: ESSILOR SUMMER DATA MANAGEMENT and ANALYSIS IT INTERN
As a member of Data Management and Governance team, the individual will support IT leads in driving adoption and adherence to data governance policies and data quality standards across business users while assisting with customer & product data analytics, cleansing, verification, and standardization.
Validates and executes analytical reports and extracts, provide results to stakeholders (IT/Business), take necessary actions (system or process wise) to correct/standardize data based on feedback from stakeholders.
Apply statistical knowledge and analytical approach to provide current and high quality information.
Identifies data conflicts in relationship to master data definitions and standards that may arise across business units, stakeholders and end-users.
Works with stakeholders to resolve data conflicts, bring standardization and accuracy.
Assist with development of ‘how to’ documents and SOPs for Customer and Product data management
Computer Sciences or MIS major/minor on undergrad or grad program preferred but not mandatory (e.g. B.Sc Computer Sciences, B.Sc MIS)
Work environment aspects (@ office, @ home, daily presence, by amount of hours to deliver per week) = At office 50% , At Home 50%
Weekly amount of hours required for position = 20-30 hrs per week
Duration in weeks = 12 weeks ideally, 8 weeks minimum
